Is my visit affected by Hurricane Matthew?
Due to the forecast weather conditions affecting Florida, guests due to travel on 7th October who have booked a flight-inclusive package may amend their stay at no penalty. Rebooking is subject to availability and travel must commence by 12th October 2016.
Guests who have booked their flights independently will not incur any charges for amending their Walt Disney World Resort stay but should refer to their individual airline regarding any fees to amend the flight schedule.
Guests travelling from 8th October onwards are advised that at present we will be operating as normal. Please continue to monitor our website for regular updates regarding your reservation and your airline website for updates to their flight schedules if you have made independent flight arrangements for your visit.
In the interests of employee safety our call centre in Orlando, Florida will remain closed until further notice. Can I buy alcohol or tobacco while at Walt Disney World?
Yes, you can.
For the purchase of alcohol and tobacco in Walt Disney World and Disney’s Vero Beach, you must show the accepted forms of ID. You must show your passport AND a government-issued photo ID which can verify the name and birth date shown on the copy of the passport.
For example, to be sold either of these items you must show your passport with a driving licence or a passport with a photo ID card. Neither of these forms of ID are acceptable on their own as valid identification.
